A fine quality French Régence giltwood pier mirror, the arched two-part plate within a guilloche-carved slip and mirrored surround, the rocaille acanthus-carved frame hung with floral garlands, the crest and apron centered with a strapwork and acanthus cartouche, each side headed with a griffin.

This mirror fits very well in size and style with the Régence console table (#1467).
