The clock is signed on the white enamel dial by the bronzier Ledure and the clockmaker Hémon. Pierre Victor Hémon was one of the renowened Parisian bronziers of the Empire period of the early 19th century and worked mostly with the clockmaker Claude Hémon together (who had a workshop in the Rue St-Martin, Paris between 1812-1820).
